3D Placement of a New Tethered UAV to UAV Relay System for Coverage Maximization

چکیده

In this paper, a new relay system that uses the UAV as station between tethered and ground user (TU2U2G) is proposed. The TU2U2G TUAV viable alternative to replace BS provide seamless service over cable simultaneously supplies stable power reliable wired data-link connection from control station. Compared BS, improves coverage due its high altitude. Also, it overcomes antenna down-tilting, which increases path loss in cellular system. addition, drawback of batteries’ limited capacity. Therefore, can achieve main requirements terms endurance, backhaul link quality, advantage UAV’s After that, optimization problem formulated maximize under budget maximum height constraints. For simplicity, 3D placement decoupled vertical horizontal placement. Then, algorithm for compared shows better results optimum height, radius, relaying distance.
